Why I Started Miosea
I've been a parent in America for over a decade. And like most parents here, I've spent a lot of that time losing the battle against screens.
Tablets, videos, apps — I get it. They're convenient. They're everywhere. But somewhere in the back of my mind, I kept thinking about something different: the wooden toys I grew up with before I ever came to this country. Simple things. Heavy in your hand. No batteries, no instructions, no setup. Just you, the toy, and whoever was sitting next to you.
One afternoon, I sat down with my daughter and an old wooden bead maze. We didn't say much. We just played. Forty-five minutes later, I looked up and thought: this is what I've been missing.
That afternoon is why Miosea exists. I started this brand because I believe every family deserves a toy they actually play together — not side by side on separate devices, but genuinely, laughingly, fully together. The kind of play you forget to stop doing.
We're a small brand. We don't make hundreds of products. But every single thing we make starts from the same question: would a whole family actually want to play with this, together? If the answer isn't yes, we don't make it.
